When I started blogging, I mentioned myself as a spiritual and motivational writer. Once, I was approached by a website to write a blog for them. And one of the first questions they asked me: is my writing based on a certain religion? The answer is no. My writings are not based on any religion, rather I respect and accept all paths to God, to the consciousness.
I was surprised on how people have misunderstood the word spirituality with religion, which has also inspired me to make people aware on this topic of spirituality and religion.
The majority of people adopt the religion that they are born into. I was born and brought up in a Hindu Brahmin family and followed this religion. Where do we come from? What happens after this life? These are some of life’s greatest questions. To some, there might not be definitive answer. For others, religion has provided answers and hope. For the majority of my own life, I fell under the the title of a “Hindu”. However, I continue to evolve into a deeper self and develop my ideas and thoughts of the world, so has my spiritualty. I am now more inclined towards the law of attraction, manifestation of thoughts and intentions, law of karma, and soul eternity.
My Personal Belief
I have always believed in a higher being, a God who has created this amazing life we live in. It’s all too unbelievable to explain about how we love the peace when wind blows, the way we connect with each other, the beauty of nature and every creation of this Mother earth. An eternal universe which reflects the energy around us. And a mankind which is so beautiful and divine in which you have to believe it first to understand it. I constantly think and notice all the different energies of this wonderful divine power works in my life. I feel overwhelmed and blessed that I am able to under this divine concept at this stage of my life.
Every religion teaches one thing and that is to surrender the creator. our life is influenced by the culture, language and art where we are born. It’s every culture’s own depiction of why we are here, trying to provide guidance on how to live our life, and give us hope.
Myth about Spirituality
One of the biggest myths that I’ve encountered in life is that spiritual people leave everything and follow the path of salvation. They do not have any desires and moods. They eat and act in a certain way. Spiritual people will go on some pilgrimage to find themselves. Spirituality is not a religion, discipline or any routine. It is a way of living your life with oneness. We are born in this beautiful Earth surrounded by our loved ones, following a certain culture and religion, speaking a certain language. Spirituality is embarking on the journey of knowing our own self, the universe and everything beyond. All it requires is an open mind.
You are God in physical body, you are spirit in the flesh. You are eternal life expressing itself as you. You are cosmic being. You are all power. You are all wisdom. You are all intelligence. You are a perfection. You are magnificence. You are creating the creation of you on this planet.
By being spiritual, I understood God is in ourselves, so we our taught to love and
make peace with everyone in the beginning of our lives. We all are given equal power and intelligence only we have to discover it, and that is called self-realization.
We all have God’s role within ourselves and our life. We all have a purpose in this world and according to that, we follow certain patterns in our life. We have all the power and wisdom to change things according to our learnings. We are creations of this magnificent universe where we are creating and evolving constantly. How magical is this!
We change our life when we change our thinking. We are a wonderful capable human being. It is time for us to acknowledge that we create our own reality with our thoughts. If we want to change our reality, then it is time for us to change our own mind.
Spirituality does not entertain our ego, nor play on lower vibrational frequencies with us. Spirituality means we must rise up and be awakened. Spirituality is a way of living with ONENESS.
God is consciousness. Not a creator. God is the source of creation itself. It is not independent of you. It is the totality of everything. So, when I call myself God I am not talking about my personal self. I am talking about the expression of God’s self that rests inside of me. The verb ENERGY… not the noun. Once you think God is a noun, person, place, or thing, you separate yourself from it and immediately become a limited being.
Ways to Practice Spirituality
Spirituality exists in all traditions and cultures. We can put our spiritualty in our daily life through ordinary, everyday activity. Meditate, focus on yourself, live a healthy life, give and feel grateful. Understand spirituality by practicing in your everyday life.
Peace and Light.
